Head of Financial Controlling Group (Dubai)

A leading international shipping company is seeking a Head of Financial Controlling Group to oversee and enhance its financial controlling function. This role is based in Dubai, UAE, and offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, multinational environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the financial controlling team, ensuring efficient reporting and financial oversight.
• Oversee financial performance monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, and operations teams to optimize financial processes.
• Drive process improvements in the controlling function.

• Experience in audit (Big 4) or in-house financial controlling leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Fluent English is a must; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience in the shipping, logistics, or transportation industry is an advantage.
• Experience of working in multicultural environment (interaction with Indians) is a plus.
