- Provide technical sales support for NOV DH Directional Tools to both Operators and Directional Companies in the area of support - Co-ordinate field operations support for NOV DH - Through constant customer contact maintain accurate monitoring of performance, activity, applications and competition to NOV Downhole - Technically supervise integrated multi-product solutions to clients - Analyze tool performance data and prepare and present customer presentations, performance summaries, Engineering Run Reports, Offset Analysis, Incident investigation reports, etc. - Oversee field analysis for failed tool investigation and coordinate with Sales and Service Quality Group to provide and present applicable incident report to the customer - Coordination between Drilling Solutions, Product Line Engineering, Product Line and Reliability group - Provide BHA and Drill-String recommendations directly to DD Companies and Operators - Manage field testing of new products and help implementation of design improvements - Make recommendations to enhance existing products to drive reliability - Implement procedures, best practices and follow knowledge management processes - Integrate drilling dynamics data and surface data to optimize drilling tool performance - Promote the technical image of NOV in the local area through membership of industry groups, technical papers and local publications - Leadership in training and mentoring of new engineers

- Supervise turbodrilling operations in deep wells with hard abrasive formation - Preparation and submitting paperwork to town ( daily, EOWR, performance, fishing, pre-run, full post-run etc. reports) - Observe and review tool condition - Run directional drilling operations with Neyrfor turbines - Running Motors jobs Pathfinder, RadiusService and PowerPak steerable mud motors on vertical, directional and horizontal wells - Hydraulic calc. - Chose optimal BHA - Running Drilling Agitator Tool - Jar placement design calc., also calc. design BHA with double jars force and jar accelerator - Planning ahead BHA design and drilling parameters - Testing BHA, full dull grading bits and BHA components - Bit selection – I had worked with different type of drill bits, performed bit optimisation. Often had worked with kinetic Impreg bits - Supervise and advice M/U, B/D & L/D BHA procedure. - Controls drilling parameters, Drill-off-test for each formation and record results (WOB, RPM, Torque and ROP relationship) - Drill out procedure for cement and casing float/shoe - Monitoring and correcting different downhole vibration modes (axial, lateral, and torsional vibration) from surface and downhole requirements) - Mentor trainees. - Participation prerun and post job meetings

- Responsible for assembling and disassembling turbodrill equipment on the rig floor

- Observe main parameters as mud weight in/out, SPP, RPM, mud losses, gains, WOB, hook load, pump pressure etc. - Rig up/down mud logging equipment. - Prepare master-log file. - Set tops of formations according to geochronology. I was part of the geological surveillance crew and worked in close collaboration with other members of the crew, with other shift teams and with the client and other service company representatives. Collected and processed cutting samples from the planned lagged depths and intervals, washed and screened samples, divided them into correct portions and packing them by sets for clients and partners. The samples were examined and described by oil industry standards and client specifications and examination for hydrocarbon shows. I assisted in core recovery when it was required. It included cutting sizes and shape, lack of cuttings while drilling, gas cut mud and visual inspection of gas sampling apparatus at the shakers.

Jul.-Dec. 2006 industrial internship as a derrickhand Apr.-May 2007 at graduation internship as a floorhand Duties: (include, but are not limited to the following) I received directions from the driller and overall supervision from the rig manager, also I was consulted by receiving instructions from the company man. Following HSI standards, used and maintained hand tools, content of pump and tank clean and organised, understood responsibilities and actions required in the event of a blow out or kick, operated and maintained plex pump and tank (pressure testing, fluid transfer, circulation of the well), tallies all tubular on location, monitored all fluids on location (used for well control or as per job specific requirements), Maintained and inspected line pipe hammer unions, butterfly valves, ball valves, diagnosed and troubleshooted mechanical equipment failures on pump engines, gearboxes and centrifugal pumps, safely mixed chemicals and understood the hazards associated with different types of fluids, controlled the property of drilling fluid, and assisted logging and cementing crew, operated and inspected escape buggy components (cables, brakes), safely loaded and unloaded of trucks, connected and disconnected steam hoses, demonstrated proper care, used and inspected fall protection equipment, rigs derrick in and out (chain and unchain blocks, rod basket, monkey board equipment and tools, routine inspection of overhead shackles, rigging in lubricators, performing emergency shut in procedures, greasing moving components), pulled tubing / run in tubing whilst in monkey board, drove in convoy, performed and understood log book responsibilities, connected and disconnected steam hoses, assisted a driller during tripping operations, assisted a mechanic during repair of mud pumps, rigged up / down on BOPs. Also I worked on shakers and participated in completion of wells (running tubing, install christmas tree), helped to a toolpusher in replacement of staff engaged in critical well operations at the rig site. Inspected job site and methods used to identify potential problems and areas for improvement.
